Akshaya Tritiya

Akshaya Tritiya, also known as Akti or Akha Teej, is an auspicious Hindu festival celebrated every year on the third day of the waxing phase of the moon in the month of Vaisakha (April-May). It is considered one of the most sacred days in Hinduism and Jainism.

On this day, people worship Lord Vishnu, Lord Ganesha, and Goddess Lakshmi and offer prayers for prosperity and well-being. It is believed that any new venture started on Akshaya Tritiya will bring good luck and success.

The festival is also known for buying gold, as it is believed to be an auspicious day to invest in gold and start new ventures. Many people purchase gold jewelry, coins, and bars on this day. It is also a popular day for weddings and other important ceremonies.
